About This Project
Competitor Group had some big email issues to solve. Eight sectors of the company creating and sending out emails through different platforms, different designs, non-responsive, off-brand, zero staff training, and poorly optimized. Also, the design team had to create graphics and code each email. It was wildly inefficient.
So, we created the Email Guardrail System aka Guardrails of the Galaxy (Guardians had just come out in theaters). To start, we created over 30 branded, templated graphics PSD files for any staff member to utilize to create email images to fit their needs. We built these to be mobile optimized and consistent with our brand standards. Next we hand coded responsive email templates with dynamic areas to fit content as needed. Once those were established, we took everything inside WordPress and built the email generator which enabled any staff member to create fully responsive, on-brand emails, from anywhere they are in the world. Basically, an internal MailChimp.
Once launched, we held live training sessions for all of the staff. Also produced PDF guides for users to reference as needed.
